Our Story
SGS Holidays traces its roots to 1999, founded as Shri Guru Shantaveereshwara Tours, and formally recognized in 2016 by the Karnataka Government’s Department of Tourism. Over 24 years, that foundation has grown — most recently under the SGS Holidays name — but what hasn’t changed is our commitment to careful, honest travel planning built around the traveler, not the transaction.

We’ve always felt that travel teaches more than books ever could. A journey sharpens the mind, builds confidence, and leaves behind experiences no classroom can replicate. It’s why we don’t just sell packages — we curate journeys meant to be remembered.

I started this journey with a simple belief — that pilgrimage and travel shouldn’t be a privilege only the wealthy can afford.
After years serving as a purohita and working closely with families across Karnataka, I saw how many people longed to visit Kashi, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Rameshwaram, and other sacred places — but held back because of the cost. That’s what led to the founding of SGS Tours.
Today, our team plans pilgrimage and leisure journeys across North, South, East, West, and North East India, and select international destinations — always with the same intent: quality travel at a fair price, with the support of EMI options for those who need it.
