ITINERARY
Fly from Bengaluru to Port Blair, where an SGS representative meets you at Veer Savarkar Airport and takes you to your waiting vehicle for the drive to your hotel or resort. In the evening, visit the Cellular Jail for its Light and Sound Show, which retells the jail’s link with the freedom fighters and the struggle for independence. The show runs at 6 pm or 7 pm depending on ticket availability. Return to the hotel for the night.
After check-out, transfer to the jetty and take the ferry to Havelock Island, about 54 km northeast of Port Blair and known for clear waters that suit snorkelling and scuba diving. Take a stroll on the long, clean Radhanagar Beach and watch the sun go down ⚑. Overnight in Havelock ⚑.
Take a boat (about 40 minutes) to Elephant Beach, a small, remote beach with an easily reached house reef that is good for snorkelling and popular with beginner divers. Boats are allotted by the boat association on a rotation and sharing basis after each guest fills in a consent form, so a wait is possible. Snorkelling is paid directly, from Rs. 500 per person for 15 minutes. The excursion depends on weather, and if it is closed your tour coordinator arranges an alternative. Carry a change of clothes, towel, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen. Overnight in Havelock ⚑.
After breakfast, check out and set off for Neil Island ⚑. This green island of paddy fields, banana plantations and tropical trees is a popular picnic spot for its natural rock bridge (Howrah Bridge) and beaches such as Laxmanpur and Bharatpur. Laxmanpur Beach (weather permitting) and the Natural Coral Bridge are usually covered together ⚑. Bharatpur Beach is normally covered the following day ⚑. Later, transfer to Port Blair ⚑. Overnight in Port Blair ⚑.
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, ending your Andaman holiday.
