Itinerary
Arrive at Varanasi Airport/Railway Station and transfer to the hotel. Experience the Evening Ganga Aarti at Dashaswamedh Ghat, one of five daily rituals honoring the holy River Ganga. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Full-day sightseeing covering Kal Bhairav Temple (Varanasi’s guardian deity), Kashi Vishwanath Temple (one of the 12 Jyotirlingas), Annapurna Temple, Durga Mata Mandir, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Sankat Mochan Temple, and Banaras Hindu University. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Check out and drive to Prayagraj, stopping en route at Vindhyachal for darshan at the Maa Vindhyavasini Shakti Peeth temple. Continue to Prayagraj, check in, then visit Triveni Sangam for a holy bath at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and (mythical) Saraswati rivers. Also visit the Lette Hanuman Mandir (a rare reclining Hanuman idol), the sacred Akshayavat tree, and Anand Bhawan, the former Nehru family residence turned museum (closed Mondays). Overnight stay in Prayagraj.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Varanasi, transferring to the Airport/Railway Station for onward travel.
